Looking after our mental health is not something we should just do when we are not coping.

Here at Mind Health, we're all about just that, your mind and your emotional health. Your mind is at the center of all you do, the basis of everything so it's time we gave it some self-care!

In this modern age, we all know the benefits of eating healthy and physical exercise to enhance our well-being. All too often we ignore the health of our mind.

 

Based on a cognitive-behavioral approach, Mind Health is here to become part of your daily workout routine. Mind Health is all about good health - Mind and Body!

 

My guided self-help exercises are easy to apply and designed to strengthen your mental and emotional health.

Looking after your mental health is not something we should just do if we are not coping, or feeling stressed, anxious, or low. It's a part of our overall health we should think about and take time to really care for and nurture, just like with our physical health. Add Mind Health to your workout routine and achieve lasting mental wellness.

Day to day living is becoming more demanding, persistently grinding on our emotional health.  It has become my great passion to inspire people to develop the type of emotional strength needed to protect us against life's seemingly never-ending demands so we can live a healthy, happy, fulfilled and successful life.  

 

Via a wide range of simple guided self-help techniques, you will learn to master your emotions and boost the health of your mind.

 

Originally from the U.K, I moved to the United States in 2014. My whole life has been dedicated to helping others. As a teenager, I developed programs to improve the happiness and well-being of the elderly living in residential nursing homes. As my ability developed I won a scholarship with the U.K National Health Service (NHS) and obtained my Degree in Nursing. I worked in the rewarding field of school nursing, specializing in developing the emotional wellbeing of children, teens, and their families. I later went on to gain a Masters in Adult Psychological Therapies - leading to numerous clinical roles within the field of adult mental health service.  

 

My unique work experience across different health settings, with children through to adults, has equipped me with a unique insight into the type of emotional strength and the inner resources needed to live an emotionally healthy life. If there is one thing my experiences in the world of mental health have taught me it's this; PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE! 

 

I created Mind Health to promote knowledge and insight into the importance of our emotional health, recognizing there is so much we can do to strengthen it in order to achieve mental wellness.
